Palindromes

Palindromes

A palindrome is a word or phrase that is the same forwards or backwards, e.g. Mr Owl Ate My Metal Worm. In palindromes, capital letters, spaces and punctuation marks are typically ignored, like in Madam in Eden, I’m Adam, or Was it a car or a cat I saw? Palindromes can also be names, like Hannah or Ava. The most simple (and probably most boring) palindromes are probably a and I. The longest one word palindrome is tattarrattat. That’s basically all I can tell you about palindromes.

See you next time,
